Leia Shaw and I started throwing out clues for an erotic crossword on Facebook after we were asked to make some up. It's duelling blogs and clues at dawn, or sunset, or something.
Which of us wins? :P Here's mine. Make up some more for me, please...please, please :) Kinky - when you use a feather to tickle your partner Fetish - when you use a chicken instead of a feather Albatross - what you use when the chicken has a headache Blow job - how to make a guy love you Voyeur - when hubs drills a hole in the neighbor's wall Exhibitionist - when the neighbor waves back Erection - what husbands get when they use hammer and nails. Shibari - Macramé for men Dildo - Bilbo's hard-up cousin Cunnilingus - tongue twister for linguists And, fill in the blank: When a woman says a vibrator is better than a guy's tongue, she just hasn't met the right ........ yet. Answer: tongue And here's a link to Leia's blog. http://leiashaw.blogspot.com.au/2012/04/fun-with-erotic-words.html Tell us who wins...but seriously Leia's clues suck. I'm kind to her though, I pat her daily and say soothing words. Darn it, she has more clues. Evil woman.

Loose Id have agreed to 31 Flavors of Kink as a working title. I'm thinking that's unlikely to change, but I can't be sure. Release date is July 3rd 2012!
Yay! So for all those who asked me, that's the word at the moment. We are doing some edits to clear up some misconceptions that some readers had about the original story. But it will be substantially the same as far as I can tell at the moment. Okay , here is my latest, and maybe my first, contest on here. Think up alternative lyrics for a song - a line or two will do - and give it a zombie slant. Example - "I ate the braaaaains, down in Africa..." Courtesy of Willsin Rowe who has extremely bad taste! Post in the comments and I'll track down whoever the random number generator picks and give you a copy of Lust Plague, my latest erotic romance with yes, zombieeeeeees in the plot. But in case you are concerned about the love lives of the zombies, don't be, they are NOT the hero or heroine. My zombies are pure unadulterated cannon fodder. Link to a sample of Lust Plague on here. If you're stuck, throw me a zombie joke. I promise not to throw you to the zombies out the back, unless it is a very very bad joke. Oh, and here is the blurb and publisher's warning on Lust Plague. Read it! To make sure it is for you. This is an erotic story and only for adults! Saving the world should be easier. When airship captain Kaysana meets Sten, the last thing she wants to do is have mad rough sex with him while bound by ropes and clamps but fate pencils in their appointment. The lust plague strikes. From her infected crew, zombies arise. With her ship gone, she must rely on Sten, a human clone, a man who has fought all his life to master himself. She despises his kind and detests Sten’s growing hold on her. Though he never takes no for an answer, surely it’s the plague that makes yes slip from her tongue like melted butter? Or should she blame her own traitorous heart? Hordes of slavering zombies await them. Sten and Kaysana unlimber weapons, don goggles, and set a course for the origin of the plague. Yet their victory will be hollow if they cannot also solve the puzzle of their hearts. Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual situations, graphic language, and material that some readers may find objectionable: anal play/intercourse, BDSM theme and elements, exhibitionism, spanking, strong violence. Love this! Made by Librarian Gemma or @librariangemma on twitter Link to the original on her tumblr is here Buylinks for Lust Plague above
I figure if I'm going to blog about anything this would have to be a great topic -- winning an award like this one. Not a bad way to start my first year as an erotic romance author. My first book came out in June last year and this one, Iron Dominance, was released in August.
Back to writing the third in this Steamworks Chronicles series, the one that tells Dankyo's story -- Steel Dominance I've just received word that Loose Id are releasing a print book version of Three Days of Dominance. My first actual printed book, and it's my very first erotic romance that I wrote too, so doubly significant to me.
I guess that makes this a Happy Dancing Day? I had to wait to see if I could show off the cover art. It is so darn pretty!!!! |
