Based on a true story of a friend I've known for 4 years almost now? Changed toward the end for a more gripping story but as we say after the epilogue of the book...

For those readers who are curious, yes, much of this story is true. The sex scenes are fictionalized to a large degree. Sidney did have her first orgasm after trying bondage and spanking with her husband, her first G-spot orgasm in the same way as in the book, and the Shibari scene is also based on fact. 

Her past is also substantially correct, including the rape as a teenager. Some of the romantic facts are also true. (spoilers removed here) Many of the trials of their relationship and mishaps involving BDSM are from real life as well.

Leia and Cari wish to emphasize, however, that as the title suggests, everyone is different. Don’t take this book as a blueprint for yourself. Make your own way in life. Don’t be discouraged by naysayers from a path that you believe is the right one for you. Do no harm to others in your pursuit of happiness. Safe, sane, and consensual, as always.
